Growing a better future...

The Digital Garden on Leetsdale is the inspiration of Leo Kacenjar. Leo asked David Braden to assist with the design and we came up with the following conceptual layout:

The project has its own website where the participants can engage in discussions and keep advised of upcoming events. Leo has begun sprouting seeds to be planted at the garden in conjunction with Grow Haus.

Glendale is one of the most congested areas of Denver. Yet, even here, we can find secluded places where nature continues its processes relatively undisturbed by all the bustle around it.

We assemble the materials and lay out the bed locations.


Leo used wood chips as the carbon source in his sheet mulch and because they are so high in carbon it is necessary to use lots of manure. Sheet mulching is essentially composting in place and requires a balance of carbon and nitrogen.
