This is a hands-on event starting seeds indoors and planting seeds in the garden.

Planting in a sheet mulch or hugelkultur is different than planting in a tilled soil.  Many of our favorite plants need a longer growing season than our climate provides.  Learn the techniques we have developed for planting cool season crops into the deep mulch and get tips on starting plants indoors.

*free for members of a gardening team.

The saying goes that there is no bad weather . . . only insufficient clothing.  However, in the case of inclement weather we may limit the hands-on portion for safety and comfort.   If an event is canceled, please consider attending on a different date . . . or consider asking David Braden to work with your team at your garden (schedule permitting).
